THE ST. PATRICK’S DAY DINNER & GIFT BASKET RAFFLE IS COMING UP ON MAR. 16 FROM 5-8 PM AT ST. CHARLES:Tickets are on sale after all Masses, and all proceeds go to fund scholarships for our young people. We still need a few volunteers to help with bread, desserts, and the serving line; sign-up sheets are in the back of the church. Please help us make this event a success!SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION:
The St. Charles parish community is once again be offering scholarships to our high school graduates who intend to pursue vocational or academic study in the coming year. The scholarship application and instructions can be downloaded from the link below.
THE IDAHO CATHOLIC APPEAL WILL TAKE PLACE THE WEEKEND OF MARCH 15-16 IN EVERY PARISH IN IDAHO:
This year’s theme is Called to be Saints. The Idaho Catholic Appeal is the one diocesan-wide appeal that provides support for over 20 ministries including seminarian formation, education and lay ministry training and formation, evangelization and worship programs, and outreach to youth, college students and to those in need. Once a year, each of us is called to make a commitment to support the work of our diocesan family, work beyond the boundary of any one parish. All registered parishioners will be receiving a leĴer from the Bishop with a brochure and pledge form inviting participation in support of this year’s Idaho Catholic Appeal. Please take some time to prayerfully discern your gift. The parish goals are $38,005 for St. Charles and $39,200 for Our Lady of the Snows, and 100% participation.

SAVE THE DATES FOR OUR UPCOMING LENTEN RETREAT— MAR. 15, 17 & 18: The retreat will kick off at Our Lady of the Snows on Saturday, Mar. 15 at 6:00 p.m., then continue on Monday and Tuesday, Mar. 17 and 18, with mirror sessions at 12:30 p.m. at OLS and 6:00 p.m. at St. Charles. Deacon Gene Fadness will be our retreat presenter, and will share his conversion story from Mormonism to evangelicalism, and finally to the Catholic Church. Come to one day, or all three! THE KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS WILL BE FRYING UP SOME FISH
after the 5:30pm Stations of the Cross at St. Charles on the Fridays of March 21st and April 4th. All are welcome! There is no cost, and all donations will go to support seminarian Monico Heredia. Monico is in Theology IV with the Diocese of Boise. y pues iniciamos ese día la Cuaresma donde se nos invita a reflexionar y hacer oración. a la entrada de la Iglesia encontrará unas hojitas con las prácticas de cuaresma que puede hacer junto con su familia. Otra manera de participar de esta cuaresma es asistiendo al viacrucis en español cada semana, lo haremos los jueves de cuaresma a las 7:30pm después de terminar la Misa. ¡Están todos invitados!

Por favor les recordamos a todas las personas que asisten a misa o a eventos de la parroquia, que se estacionen solo en las áreas designadas. Evite estacionarse en las entradas de las casas vecinas. LA CAMPAÑA CATÓLICA DEL DIEZMO TENDRÁ LUGAR LOS DÍAS 4-5 DE MARZO EN TODAS LAS PARROQUIAS QUE CONFORMAN LA DIÓCESIS DE BOISE EN IDAHO.
El tema de este año es Llamados a ser santos. La Campaña Católica del Diezmo es la campaña a nivel diocesano que brinda apoyo a 20 ministerios, incluyendo la formación de seminaristas, educación y capacitación para el ministerio laico y formación, programas de evangelización y de culto, y programas para llegar a la juventud, a los estudiantes universitarios y para los necesitados. Una vez al año, cada uno de nosotros está llamado a asumir el compromiso de apoyar el trabajo de nuestra familia diocesana, trabajo más allá de los límites de cualquier parroquia. Todos los feligreses registrados recibirán una carta del Obispo con un folleto y formulario de compromiso invitando a la participación en apoyo de la Campaña Católica del Diezmo de este año. Por favor tómese el tiempo para discernir por medio de la oración su ofrenda para la Campaña Católica del Diezmo, que se llevará a cabo en febrero.
